Cockroaches

They may be small but pack a big punch. As one of the most common and bothersome indoor species, they tend to reside in kitchens and bathrooms, lured by warmth, moisture, and readily available food. Recognizable by their light brown or tan hue and distinct parallel stripes on their backs, these roaches reproduce rapidly, capable of swiftly infesting living areas if not promptly addressed. Proper cockroach pest control is absolutely crucial. 

Often found in damp and dark areas like basements and sewers, Oriental cockroaches are recognizable by their shiny black or dark brown appearance. Unlike other species, Oriental cockroaches have limited climbing abilities and tend to move slower than their counterparts. We have seen these pests in places all over Kansas City, such as Leavenworth, Weston, Platte City, and more. 

Unlike indoor cockroaches, wood roaches thrive in outdoor settings, primarily occupying wooded areas, and demonstrate less interest in infesting homes or structures. Generally larger in size, they sport a brownish coloration and are identifiable by wings that extend beyond their bodies. Wood cockroach infestations are not typically as bothersome but we can still provide expert cockroach pest control to avoid them.
